Most christians of other denominatios are very critical of the Catholic Church. You worship Mary the Mother of Jesus and so called Saints. When Catholics answer; we do not worship but we honour them and ask them to pray for us as you ask your pastor to pray for you; They will retork; the death cannoit pray for the living, they are in their tombs waiting for the Judgement day: What really do the Bible says:
In the Old testament we are told that the death do not come back to life, Isaih 38,18 For the death cannot praise You, they cannot raise their voices in praise does who go down to the grave cnnot longer hope for Your faithfulness

John the Baptist in Mark 1,15 The time is fulfilled , He said -and the Kingdom of God is near repent ;;;;
Jesus the Redeemer when He started His Mission which was to last three years had also this to say Mark3;2 -turn away from your sins He said-because the Kingdom of Heaven is near
Jn 5;25 I am telling you the truth;the time is Coming-the time has already come -when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear it will come to life-NB He said those Who hear it which means some will continue lying there till the final judgement day
Jn 5;24 I am telling you the truth those who hear my words and believe in He' who sent me will have eternal life, they will no more be Judged bur have passed from death to life
In answer to Marthe Lazarus sister who thought resurection was till a distant affaire; Jesus said Jn11,25-26 I am the resurection and the life, Those who believe in me will live even though they die and those who live and believe in me will never die
